    Every treehouse comes stocked for unhurried stays. Pre-order small-batch frozen meals from FieldGoods, proper comfort food, thoughtfully prepared and ready to pop in the oven.

    Each treehouse also has a Treets Bar: a cabinet of drinks and treats curated from our favourite British makers. English sparkling wine, craft cocktails, chocolate and savoury snacks for quiet evenings in the woods. Scan a QR code during your stay to purchase.

    Set in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Cowdray is a historic estate with centuries of heritage and a spirit of modern countryside living.

    From your treehouse, wander to the Polo Lawns, Cowdray Farm Shop and Café, or the ancient Cowdray Ruins. The estate hosts events, dining and wellness experiences throughout the year, all celebrating the beauty of nature and tradition.

  • Electric Buggy

    Our Cowdray location is car-free, protecting the woodland and its historic landscape.

    Guests can hire an electric buggy for the duration of their stay, making it easy to travel between the Welcome Suite, their treehouse, and nearby spots like the Farm Shop and Café. The 1000m route is also a beautiful 20-minute walk. Designated EV charging points are available. Drivers must be over 18 and hold at least a provisional licence.

Within walking distance of your treehouse, you’ll find the iconic Polo Lawns, the award-winning Cowdray Farm Shop & Café, and the historic ruins of Cowdray House. The estate buzzes with activity year-round, hosting events from polo tournaments to seasonal workshops, dining experiences, and wellness retreats.

 

LOCATION

Our treehouses are just an hour from London, making them the perfect countryside escape. The nearest train station is Haslemere, with direct services from London Waterloo in under an hour. From Haslemere, it’s a 15-minute taxi ride to the Cowdray Estate.

For those driving, the postcode for the Welcome Suite is GU29 0AJ. Park your car and enjoy a scenic walk or hire an electric buggy to transport you to your treehouse, ensuring the woodland remains car-free and serene.
