From the shade of the ancient ruins to the open meadows, there are plenty of beautiful picnic spots on the Cowdray Estate. Stay with us in June, and you will receive a complimentary seasonal picnic, packed with local produce.
Sourced from our favourite Sussex and British artisans, the basket (worth £90) is designed to be taken into the grounds. We have equipped each treehouse with a wicker basket and wool blanket for your use; you simply need to choose your spot.

The picnic (worth £90) is complimentary for all June bookings made between March 6th - May 15th 2026. Baskets and blankets are provided for use on the estate and should remain in the treehouse for our next guests to enjoy upon your departure.
